Growth Groups

Sometimes also known as house groups or small groups, they meet every two weeks in various homes, for bible study and christian fellowship. Please speak to the Minister or one of the Leadership team for further details.

Prayer Meetings

Are held at 8pm on the third Wednesday of the month and at 10.15am on the fourth Saturday of the month.

UBC Men’s Shed

Men’s shed is a place where men can work and meet up. We meet Tuesday and Thursday 9am to 12 midday.

Our shed is equipped with tools and materials donated by the public and local Rotary and we are set up mainly for woodworking, however we are open to suggestions for projects. If you are interested, please contact the UBC office

Lunch Club

Meets every Monday from 11am to 2pm for those who would otherwise be eating alone.

First Wednesday

Not surprisingly, First Wednesday takes place on the first Wednesday of the month from 10.30 to 12 noon, and is for all ages. It is a mainly social occasion, various demonstrations, quizzes and talks giving opportunity to meet with others and enjoy conversation, and activities varying from month to month.

Residential Home

Regular visits are made to a local residential home for the elderly in Upminster. A short service is held once a month. Please contact us for further details.

Well Being Group

To help with self discovery and relaxation, this group meets on Wednesday afternoons, please phone church office for details.

Blood Cancer Support Group

Supported by lymphoma action

A Lymphoma Action support group meets at the church for anyone affected by blood cancer – lymphoma, myeloma or leukaemia. Whether you have a diagnosis yourself, are a carer, friend or partner. It’s a friendly group and new people are always welcome. We often organise speakers but there is always the opportunity to have a chat and catch up with each other too.

We meet once a month on a Tuesday in the Gale room of Upminster Baptist Church, Springfield Gardens, Upminster. RM14 3EH. 1.30pm to 3pm unless otherwise stated.
